OKMULGEE COUNTY -- People across the state are working to cleanup damage from the storms that ripped through the state this past week.
In Okmulgee County alone, three tornados touched down. To tap into FEMA funds and other programs, county officials need to show enough damage to justify a federal disaster declaration.
The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management will be in Okmulgee County Sunday to examine the damage to see what could qualify for federal help.
Anyone with storm damage in Okmulgee County, who suffered damage to their home, is urged to call the Okmulgee Office of Emergency Management at (918) 759-9984, between 8:00 a.m. and noon Sunday.
