Tulsans Headed To Tennessee To Help In Red Cross Flood Relief Efforts

TULSA, OK -- Two American Red Cross volunteers will be deployed Monday to assist with Red Cross relief efforts in Tennessee.

The Tulsa Area Chapter says Frank McGilbra and Sandy Conner will fly out Monday morning.

The Red Cross says both McGilbra and Conner are experienced in disaster response.

Tulsa Red Cross volunteer, Terry Bavousette, who was deployed to Mississippi last week, is being transferred to the Tennessee flood response effort as well.

The storms, which struck Tennessee area earlier this month, are now blamed for 33 deaths.
