BROKEN ARROW, OK -– The Broken Arrow School District has reportedly been served with subpoenas and several computers have been seized by investigators, according to information provided to state Rep. Mike Reynolds(R) Oklahoma City.

Broken Arrow Schools has been under the microscope for its accounting practices.

The State Auditor and Inspector's office just turned over the results of its year-long audit of the district to the state attorney general, and the attorney general's office is reportedly looking into whether any laws were broken.

A Broken Arrow Schools spokesperson had no comment on Reynolds' claim.

Attorney General Drew Edmondson's office would not confirm or deny that the computers were seized and subpoenas delivered.

"At this time, I have not been notified by the district of any subpoenas or that any computers were taken," Broken Arrow School Board Member Terry Stover told The News On 6.

"The latest reports, if accurate, continue to paint a picture of serious trouble at the Broken Arrow School District," said Reynolds, R-Oklahoma City. "I believe the public, especially parents in the Broken Arrow district, have a right to know about these latest alleged developments."

Last week, Reynolds was informed that a state audit of the school district had been finished and the results turned over to the Office of the Attorney General, an apparent indicator that criminal activity may have been uncovered.

The Broken Arrow school district has been a source of controversy since October, 2008 when the school board fired Superintendent Jim Sisney.

Sisney has alleged he was fired because he discovered wrongful business practices between the school and a heating and air contractor.
