Tulsa Man Faces Rape Charge In North Carolina

ASHEVILLE, NC -- A Tulsa man appeared in a North Carolina courtroom on Thursday charged with first degree rape and burglary stemming from a 2001 incident in Asheville.

Tulsa Police arrested Andrew Davis in March.

Davis waived extradition and was returned to North Carolina this month.

According to a Asheville Police report, a man entered a young woman's apartment during the night in September 2001 and sexually assaulted the woman.
