TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police are investigating a pair of unrelated robberies on the opposite sides of town late Tuesday and early Wednesday morning.
Tulsa Police are looking for three men who robbed a Tulsa couple late Tuesday night in the driveway of their home near 7th and Zunis.
The couple had just returned home and was getting out of their car, when three men approached and one of the men produced a handgun.
The husband and wife both told the robbers they had no money, so the three men gave up and fled the scene.
About an hour later, Tulsa Police were dispatched to the Super 8 motel at Archer and Sheridan for a report of an armed robbery.
Police say the robber entered the motel's lobby and pointed his gun at the motel's clerk and demanded money.
After getting the money, the clerk fled the scene on foot.
The clerk told officers the motel office's telephone didn't work and he thought the robber was still nearby so he waited 15-minutes before calling Tulsa Police.
