UNDATED -- The U.S. Census Bureau is looking for Oklahomans to knock on doors around the state.

The federal government needs to hire help to go door-to-door, visiting everyone who didn't send back their census survey by mail.

The jobs are part-time and only last for about two months, but can pay more than $14 an hour.

In order to be eligible, applicants must be at least 18-years-old, be a U.S. citizen, take a basic skills test and pass a background check.

Anyone interested in applying should call the U.S. Census Bureau's Jobs Line at 1-800-861-2010.

Applicants must have two forms of identification: a valid Driver's License/state issued photo ID card, and a Social Security card or a valid U.S. Passport.
