Firefighters: One Dead In Tulsa House Fire

TULSA, OK --  Tulsa Fire officials still have no positive identification of a body found dead following a house fire Sunday evening.

The fire happened at about 7:30 p.m. in a duplex located in the 5100 block of South Wheeling.

Tulsa Fire acting administrative chief Bill French says the state Medical Examiner's Office has the body and have not yet released a positive ID.

When firefighters knocked down the fire, they said they found a person dead in a bedroom.

Tulsa firefighters said the duplex next door was unoccupied.

French says the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
