Tulsa Police Investigate Two Overnight Traffic Mishaps

TULSA, OK -- A driver says she tried to avoid a dog in a Tulsa roadway, losing control and hitting a cable barrier early Thursday morning. 

Tulsa Police say the driver suffered only minor injuries in the accident on the Sand Springs Expressway near Quanah. 

The woman was eastbound on the expressway when she told officers she swerved to avoid the dog. 

And police officers investigating a car chase between two cars, found what they believe was one of the cars in the 1900 block of North Elgin crashed into a tree.

The car had been abandoned at the accident scene.
