TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa Zoo didn't need cake and candles to celebrate two very special birthdays on Wednesday.
Thabo and Zuber, two lion cubs at the Tulsa Zoo, turned one Wednesday. In just a year they've grown from three pounds to 130 each!
Zoo keepers and friends sang Happy Birthday to the cubs and a girl who helped name one of the cubs was there for the special event.
Madelin Hayes said, "I named him Zuber. That means brave and I thought that was a really good name for him cause I really like that name."
The cats didn't seem to miss the cake and candles, probably because they chowed down on meat-popsicles instead.
They're the first lions born at the Tulsa Zoo in more than 30 years.
