Suspected Drunk Driver Wrecks Car In Tulsa Yard

TULSA, OK -- Two men in a pick-up ended up in the front yard of a Tulsa homeowner in the 6900 block of East 61st St.

The driver apparently failed to negotiate a U-turn in a cul-de-sac, lost control of the truck and drove up a retaining wall. The pickup landed on its side in a residential yard at about 1 a.m. Saturday.

The homeowner and neighbors came out to find two apparently intoxicated males at the scene. Police say the truck just missed the house after it rolled off the retaining wall.

The driver was taken into custody at the scene. No one was injured.
