DELAWARE COUNTY -- An Enid man was killed when the semi he was driving left the road and overturned, Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers say.
Larry Ray Garrett, 65, was pinned in the vehicle for about two hours and died at the scene of massive injuries.
Troopers say the accident happened at about 7:45 a.m. Saturday at mile marker 80 on eastbound Cherokee Turnpike in Delaware County. Garrett's truck left the road for an unknown reason and flipped over on its roof.
Seatbelts were in use, according to the report. The cause of the accident is unknown. The driver was extricated by Kansas, Oaks and Leach Fire Departments.
