TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police say an armed robber took cash and a bag of chips from a Tulsa gas station Friday night. The Gas and Shop Convenience Store at 15th and Utica was robbed at about 11: 20 p.m. Friday.
A man walked into the store with a stocking over his head and grabbed a bag of chips as he approached the clerk. He opened his jacket to show he was carrying a silver revolver.
The man asked for money then took it from the register and ran out of the gas station, according to police at the scene. He drove away in a blue vehicle.
Police stopped a vehicle matching the description nearby, but it wasn't the suspect's car. Tulsa Police are investigating the armed robbery.
No one was injured in the incident.
