Sixteen Puppies Abandoned In Creek Co. Have New Homes

In January, News On 6 reporter Rick Wells introduced us to the dogs that were abandoned in Creek County. Since that story aired, all of the puppies and two of the momma dogs have been adopted.

CREEK COUNTY -- Sixteen abandoned puppies have new homes.  In January, News On 6 reporter Rick Wells introduced us to the dogs that were abandoned in Creek County.

Since that story aired, all of the puppies and two of the momma dogs have been adopted. 

Carol Lawrence, who runs the shelter, Creek Pet Adoption in Kellyville, says other dogs at the shelter have also been adopted. Lawrence said there has also been an increase in donated supplies and money.
