TULSA, OK -- A man is being treated for a gunshot wound to the head after a robbery in east Tulsa Tuesday evening.
The shooting happened shortly before 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Bradford Town Homes near 21st and Garnett.
A witness told police that two men approached the victim in the parking lot and tried to take the victim's wallet. Officers say the men attempted to fire at the victim, but the gun jammed. The victim got into a scuffle with one of the suspects and that is when the gun fired, striking the victim in the head.
The man was taken to Tulsa hospital in serious condition.
Officers are looking for two suspects.
One is described as a male, 5'07" and around 150 pounds. He is 19-20 years of age.
The second suspect is described as 5'07" and 160 pounds. This suspect was also around 19-20 years old and was described as being bald and he was wearing a black jacket.
Tulsa Police say the suspects left the scene in an older possibly maroon colored four door car, possibly an Oldsmobile.
