TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police have released the name of the city's latest homicide victim. He is identified as 20-year-old Deandre Burrell.

Burrell was found at about 4:30 p.m. in the living room of a home in the 1500 block of South 78th East Avenue with several gunshot wounds to the torso.

Police officers say Burrell was found by his grandfather who had just returned home from a funeral. Burrell had been dropped off at the home by a friend at about 1:35 p.m.

Burrell was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the home had been thoroughly ransacked, but that there was no sign of forced entry.

A witness told Tulsa Police two males wearing dark clothing walking south on 78th
East Avenue from 15th Street and looked out of place in the neighborhood.

Police say another person was seen approaching a nearby house after getting out of a black 1990's four-door Lexus with gold trim and tinted windows.

Any person with information about the homicide or saw anything in the neighborhood is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
