Late Sunday Tulsa Police Chase Ends With Arrest

TULSA, OK -- A man accused of stealing a van in north Tulsa is now behind bars at the Tulsa County jail. 

The incident happened Sunday night near Admiral and Sheridan. 

Tulsa Police were responding to a call of shots fired when they spotted a van matching the description of a vehicle involved in the shooting. 

Officers tried to stop the van, but the van took off and a chase was underway. 

A short time later, two men in the van abandoned the vehicle while it was still moving and ran away. 

Officers used the department's canine unit to track down 19-year-old Anthony Williams. 

Williams was was taken into custody.     

A search for the second suspect continues.
