OKMULGEE COUNTY -- The body of a missing Henryetta man was found Wednesday afternoon according to a news release from the Okmulgee Co. Sheriff's Office. The body of Stephon Turrentine, 49, was recovered from a farm pond near Grayson.
The rural area had been previously searched by friends, family and the Sheriff's Office, a press release said, but the body was discovered by a local rancher.

Turrentine was last seen by his family at about 9 p.m. December 16 walking south of state Highway 52 between Morris and Grayson in rural Okmulgee County.
The cause of death is under investigation by the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's office.
Muscogee Creek Nation Emergency Management and the Morris Fire Department assisted the Okmulgee County Sheriff's Department with the recovery.
