Man Steals Cash, Prescription Drugs From Tulsa Walgreens

TULSA, OK -- Officers with the Tulsa Police Department are looking for the man who they say robbed a Walgreens overnight Saturday at 31st and Garnett.

Authorities say a man with a scarf wrapped around his face robbed the Walgreens at gunpoint. 

Employees told police that the man forced them to the back of the store and then he demanded they open the store's safe. 

Officers say the robber stole cash and thousands of dollars worth of prescription drugs.

"They're inside trying to get a total and we're looking at close to probably $60,000 to $100,000 worth of meds that he got," Corporal Dan Miller, Tulsa Police, said at the scene of the crime.
