TULSA, OK -- The frigid temperatures in Tulsa are driving Tulsa's homeless indoors.
Shelters like the Day Center for The Homeless are at capacity. They say they're taking in up to 100 more people each day than usual.
They're also letting some people back in who've been ousted in the past for bad behavior.
Mack Haltom, Tulsa Day Center For The Homeless, said, "A lot of times people, men and women both maybe cannot come into the facilities because of behavior. We're kind of lessening restrictions on that. We're wanting people to come in. Of course, we're wanting them to behave but if they have been barred, we still want to get them inside."
The day center is also in desperate need of cold weather clothes things like coats, hats and gloves.
