25th Tulsa Shoot-Out Brings Big Racing with Small Cars To QuikTrip Center

TULSA---It will be a full weekend of racing at Tulsa's QuikTrip Center with the 25^th Annual Tulsa Shoot-Out. A prelude to the upcoming 24th Annual Chili Bowl Midget Nationals on January 12-16, 2010, action got under way on today with Midget and Micro Sprint practice in the morning followed by heat race action.

‘It's probably the biggest mini-sprint count anybody's had in the country,' said Promoter Emmitt Hahn, ‘we've got about 585 of them in five classes.'

From the outlaw class to stock classes, kids and adults will compete in races all weekend.

‘We've got some of the best mini-sprint drivers from Florida, New York, Seattle, Phoenix…they're here from all over the country,' said Hahn.
