GARDEZ, AFGHANISTAN -- Soldiers from the 1-45th Agribusiness Development Team are in Afghanistan but are still proud of the Oklahoma Sooners football team.

All of the soldiers are members of the Oklahoma Army National Guard who were deployed in early December to Afghanistan.

The group is commanded  by Col. Mike Chase of Chandler.

According to Col. Chandler, the soldiers are working with the Afgans to help improve their agriculturial industry, including animal husbandry, agronomy and pest management.

The soldiers put together a special video they call their "OU Shout Out."  OU is playing in the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas.
