Wrong-Way Driver Involved In Head-On Collision

Two people were injured after head-on collision on Interstate 244 near Utica Thursday evening in Tulsa.

TULSA, OK -- Two people were injured after head-on collision on Interstate 244 near Utica. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Tulsan Cynthia Jackson, 46, got on the Interstate going the wrong way at 1st St.

Her vehicle collided head-on with a pickup truck.

Jackson was transported to a local hospital in serious condition. The driver of the pickup, 52-year-old Rickey Steward of Prettywater, was transported in stable condition to a local hospital.

The accident took place at about 6:17 p.m. Thursday.
