TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police say a law enforcement visit to a Tulsa residence Wednesday night ended in suicide.
At about 8:30 p.m., FBI agents and officers from the Tulsa Police Department went to a house near 36th and South Gary Avenue to talk to a man they say had been making threats.
According to Tulsa police, the FBI says the man had called the FAA and threatened to "shoot down the helicopters" that were flying over his house.
Tulsa police identify him as 58-year-old George Reavis.
When officers and agents arrived, they say the man went back into the house.
Police say Reavis' wife located him in a bathroom and asked him to come out and speak with police. She then heard a gunshot.
She ran outside and told police Reavis had shot himself.
Officers located Reavis in the master bathroom, dead from a single gunshot wound.
Tulsa Police say neither they nor the FBI agents fired any shots.
