JENKS---Jenks High School organizations have built canned-good displays in the Riverwalk Movies lobby in an effort to support the Jenks Community Food Bank.
‘They have collected cans, and they have constructed movie-related items,' said Jenks Community Food Bank Executive Director Martha Rongey, ‘to be on display through December 30th here at Riverwalk.'
This is the fifteenth year of operation for the Jenks Community Food Bank, and it's the second year for the Can-Do Competition.
‘This part right here is called the Can-Do, and it's the third and final phase of our giant project,' said Jenks High School student Trevor Morse, ‘we had a food drive for the Jenks Community Food Bank as well as a dodge-ball tournament we held at our high school.'
The Can-Do displays may be voted on by placing money in collection jars and all proceeds will go to the Jenks Community Food Bank.
