Tow Truck Crash Damages Popular Okmulgee Restaurant

OKMULGEE, OK -- A Tulsa tow truck caused considerable amount of damage to an Okmulgee restaurant Thursday morning.  

Okmulgee Police say the Allied Towing truck carrying a U.S. Postal truck crashed into Capp's BBQ at 1st and U.S. Highway 75.  

The driver of the tow truck was not injured, but Capp Crowder's restaurant sustained extensive damage. 

Word spread quickly about the accident and a number of loyal customers stopped by to survey the damage.

Crowder says until he figures out what to do with the building, he will now only be in the catering business.

Okmulgee Police are still investigating.
