Stars Build 'Little House' For Tulsa Area Charity

TULSA, OK -- They made a Little House On The Prairie home, now they're building a future for strangers.

Melissa Gilbert and Steve Blanchard and play "Ma" and "Pa" in the Little House musical which just opened at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.

But, before taking the stage Wednesday night, they rolled up their sleeves to do a little painting. The musical's stars are volunteering with Habitat for Humanity.

“It's just as difficult now, today to find good as it was then. So, this is the least we could do,” Steve Blanchard said.

You might recognize Melissa Gilbert. She played little Laura Ingalls in the TV show. Now - all grown up - she's staring as "Ma."
