TULSA, OK -- Several media sources say Oklahoma country music legend Garth Brooks is coming out of retirement this week.
According to a Las Vegas newspaper, Garth will be the headline performer at the Encore-Wynn Theatre in Las Vegas.
The official announcement is expected to be made sometime Thursday on Garth Brooks' Web site.
Garth's first album was released in 1989, and since then it is estimated sales of his albums have topped 220 million.
Brooks has released 19 records in all.
In 2001, Garth officially retired from recording and performing.
Since then, Brooks has performed several times and released at least two compilation albums.
