TULSA, OK -- Rogers High School celebrated Brian Grimm's big win during a special assembly Friday morning. The city even gave him a proclamation making Friday "Brian Grimm Day" in Tulsa.
But, the 34-year-old English teacher wouldn't take all the credit.
"I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am for all of this," said Brian Green, Oklahoma Teacher of the Year. "But, I want you to know that this award, for all its fanfare, is in large part, simply an affirmation to the incredible work being done here at Will Rogers High School."
Brian's Teacher of the Year win is the first for Tulsa Public Schools in 45 years.
