TULSA, OK -- A teenage boy has died after a shooting in north Tulsa overnight.
Tulsa Police say the 17-year old was riding his bicycle when he was shot in the back.
Officers say the teen was approached by a group of men near Xyler and Oswego around 10:30 p.m. Monday. One of the men took out a gun and started shooting.
The teen was shot one time and taken to a Tulsa hospital.
He died early Tuesday morning.
Tulsa Police say it appears the shooting was an isolated event.
Police are looking for a purple or dark colored Dodge car that was seen driving south from the scene of the shooting. Witnesses tell police, there were 4 to 6 people in the car.
So far, no one has been arrested.
The name of the victim has not been released.
