TULSA, OK -- All lanes of northbound U.S. Highway 169 at Pine Street are now open following emergency bridge repairs.
All lanes of east and westbound Pine Street are expected to remain closed until later today.
Two beams of the bridge were damaged by an accident on Pine Street Friday.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation expedited a plan to repair the bridge and restore traffic on U.S. 169 as quickly as possible.
Starting Monday, ODOT crews began repairs using a technique called heat straightening, in which the damaged steel was brought back into alignment by using heat.
