TULSA, OK -- A young man visits Tulsa from Philadelphia to share his story of inspiration.
Timmy Kelly is 16 years old, but when he was born, he was two months premature. Doctors saved his life, but they couldn't save his eyesight. When Timmy was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, his family turned to the Shiners' Hospital for help.
"Because of them, I can walk, I can run, I can play just like any other normal kid my age," said Timmy Kelly.
Now, Timmy travels the country singing and giving motivational speeches. He wants people to know the compassionate things the Shiners do for children like him.
Timmy will share his story with sixth graders in Glenpool on Monday.
