Fire At Tulsa Hotel Under Renovation

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Firefighters battled a fire at a downtown hotel on Monday afternoon.

The fire was reported just before 3 o'clock at the Downtown Plaza Hotel. Tulsa Fire officials tell The News On 6 that renovations were underway on the building and there were no occupants inside the building.

The fire was reportedly electrical in nature and was located between the penthouse and ceiling.

Tulsa Police said someone called them around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday after they saw someone kicking over headstones at Oaklawn.
