Coweta Man Dies, Crushed By Tractor

COWETA, OK -- A 45-year-old Coweta man was killed when his tractor rolled over, pinning him underneath. Kenneth Edward Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by Coweta emergency services.

The accident took place at about 8 p.m. Saturday on private property about five miles southwest of Coweta in Wagoner County.

Johnson was operating the tractor when it rolled over for an unknown reason, according to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Johnson was pinned under the tractor for about an hour until Coweta firefighters used a boom truck to lift the tractor.
