Tulsa County Home Destroyed By Fire

TULSA, OK -- Fire destroys a home near the Tulsa-Osage County line early Wednesday.

The fire was first reported at about 1 a.m. at a home near 58th Street North and North Osage Drive.

It took fire crews awhile to arrive on scene. Firefighters say a neighbor called 911, but the call wasn't immediately dispatched.

Eventually, fire crews from Tulsa, Osage County, and Turley arrived at the home which was engulfed in flames.

Officials say the family that lives at the home is on vacation.

There is no word on what started the fire.
