TULSA, OK -- With all of the activity, traffic jams tangled up downtown Tulsa travel during much of Friday.
It was definitely bumper to bumper on Friday evening along 3rd Street. Dfest has taken over the blue dome district and traffic slowed down to a crawl as festival goers searched for parking.
Spaces were definitely in short supply with the musical, Wicked, packing in the crowds at the PAC. And then over on the other side of downtown, the BOK Center was seeing quite a bit of foot traffic, with fans young and old heading to see their favorite rising stars from American Idol.
"Between the construction and the large number of people, it was tough. It was quite a bit of sitting still," said Danny Millspaugh, who was going to Dfest.
"Not too bad really. We got a great parking spot right down there, not too far," said the Connor Family of their visit to the BOK Center.
