Tulsa City Council Candidate To Stay On Ballot

TULSA, OK --  A candidate for the Tulsa city council district 5 seat will remain on the September 8 primary election ballot. 

During a meeting of the Tulsa County Election Board Tuesday morning, the board voted to retain Christopher Trail on the ballot. 

Bill Martinson Jr., the incumbent, had contested Trail's candidacy. 

Both Trail and Martinson are Republicans. 

The winner on September 8 will take the seat since no Democrat filed for the district 5 seat.
