TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa man hit and killed Sunday night was remembered Friday morning during his funeral service.

Stephen Stewart, 64, came home Sunday evening and found a man stealing his work truck. When he tried to stop the thief, he was hit and killed.

Family and friends of Stewart said their final good-byes to the father and grandfather.  And they did it a bit differently than most funerals.

Stewart had worked at Tulsa's Metro Builders Supply for 34 years, so the family thought it would be appropriate for Stewart's casket to be transported to the funeral by a Metro Builders Supply truck.

William Parris was arrested in connection with Stewart's death.
