Tulsa Construction Zone Causes Big Traffic Backup

TULSA, OK -- A repaving job on I-44 this past weekend caused a big traffic backup for area motorists.

The construction zone is on I-44 between 129th and 161st East Ave.

An Oklahoma Department of Transportation contractor has been removing and replacing asphalt on that stretch of interstate highway.

The road will be open during the week, but work resumes this coming weekend - so be ready for more delays.
