TULSA, OK -- An 80-year-old man has some bumps and bruises after being held hostage for about 30 minutes while robbers ransacked his home.
Officers with the Tulsa Police Department say the armed robbery happened at 2:20 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of East 55th Street North.
Officers say the man owns a bar/pool hall and comes home each night at about 2 a.m.
The victim told officers he pulled into his driveway and three men approached him outside his home. The victim says the men seemed to be waiting for him, ambushed him, hit him a few times and forced him into his home.
He says they taped his legs together and taped a napkin over his face while the men searched his home, according to police.
The men took cash, a 42-inch flat screen TV and a 1999 white Ford Taurus with an Oklahoma tag number of 242-ZMJ.
The three male suspects are described as 20-24 years old, black, 5'9" - 5'11" and 175 pounds.
Two of the men were wearing black ski masks and one was wearing a white ski mask.
The victim told police he didn't recognize their voices.
