MOORE, OK -- Arson investigators are trying to determine what caused a fire that destroyed a Moore church Tuesday morning.
Fire officials say the fire apparently started in the attic area of the Hope Adventist Fellowship Church in the 1400 block of N.E. 12th Street.
The fire caused the roof to collapse around 7 a.m.
Moore Police said a man was seen running from the building just before it caught fire around 6 a.m. Tuesday. He was arrested for public intoxication and was taken to the Cleveland County Jail for questioning.
Firefighters said the fire was suspicious, and arson investigators were dispatched to the scene.
