TULSA, OK -- Two teenagers are sent to a Tulsa hospital early Friday morning after a double shooting in 1100 block of East 48th Street.

Tulsa Police were called to the DeVille Apartments around 1 a.m.

Police officers say two teenage girls ran to a nearby apartment after they were both shot in the arm.

The two, ages 14 and 17 had been swimming in the complex's pool.

Officers say the shooting apparently was over a prank phone call over boyfriends.

"We don't have that information and we actually don't have any witnesses from the complex.  We do have one witness near the pool that can do an ID on him.  Other than that, a lot of the residents in the complex heard the shots, but didn't see it occur," said Tulsa Police Sgt. Sandy Bayles.

Police questioned the suspect's girlfriend, but still don't know his name.

Police say the teens are expected to be okay.
