TULSA, OK -- A local non-profit group is working to brighten the lives of women in need. The Resonance Center for Women held its Art for the Soul fundraiser.
The work of dozens of area artists was up for auction with most of money going to the charity. Resonance says, in this economy, every cent makes a difference in someone's life.
"Resonance has served, in the last 30 years since its founding, I think over a quarter of a million women and their families. And, at times like this, their services are so needed," said Jennifer Palmer with Resonance.
The Wednesday fundraiser included a live and silent auction. Plus, local chefs were dishing up tasty treats.
