TULSA, OK -- Thousands of people looking for a horse of a different color are in Tulsa for the Pinto World Championship Horse Show.

The 12-day competition at Expo Square will showcase horses, ponies and miniatures as they jump, rein, drive and trot their way to winning blue ribbons.

"There are 431 classes at this show," said Mahlon Bauman, President of the Pinto Horse Association.  "We have dressage in the big arena, miniatures showing in-hand, classes for the English horses under saddle, hunt seat, saddle seat, western classes, cattle classes, driving classes, showmanship classes, if its out there we're going to have it in the next two weeks."

The spotted equines aren't the only attraction at the event.

More than 70 vendors will offer tack, clothing, jewelry and even trucks and trailers will be available for purchase.

There will also be a ‘Pink Your Pinto' parade on June 12th to raise money for OU Cancer Institute.
