TULSA, OK -- Frontier Airlines will begin twice-daily nonstop service to Tulsa International Airport from its hub at Denver International Airport on August 2.
Frontier's wholly-owned subsidiary Lynx Aviation will provide service for the route.
This is the first new city added to the Frontier network in 2009.
"We are happy to be back in Tulsa," said President of Lynx Cameron Kenyon. "We look forward to reintroducing our affordable fares, the choice and added value that comes with our AirFairs product and the great customer service for which both Lynx and Frontier employees are known."
Frontier Airlines originally began service to Tulsa in May 2005 before leaving as part of a network-wide capacity reduction in 2008.
To celebrate the launch of service to Tulsa, Frontier Airlines and Lynx Aviation announced a re-introductory sale starting June 3, 2009, that will connect customers from Tulsa to 40 Frontier and Lynx destinations across the United States for as low as $59* each way.
