UNDATED -- Chrysler LLC has told a bankruptcy court it plans to eliminate 789 of its dealers, including 12 from Oklahoma.
An exhibit filed Thursday in its bankruptcy court case in New York names the dealerships.
Dealers on the list would not necessarily be forced to close, but would be forced to give up some or all of the brands they currently sell.
Here are the Oklahoma dealers and the brands they would lose:
Crossroads Superstore, Atoka: Chrysler, Dodge, Dodge Truck and Jeep
Oakley Pontiac-Buick, Bartlesville: Jeep
McKinsey Motor Company, Clinton: Chrysler, Dodge, Dodge Truck and Jeep
John Thomas Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep, Cordell: Chrysler, Dodge, Dodge Truck and Jeep
Reynolds Autogroup, Durant: Chrysler, Dodge, Dodge Truck and Jeep
Janzen Jeep, Enid: Jeep
Jensen's, Fairview: Chrysler, Dodge, Dodge Truck and Jeep
Eddie Cordes Jeep-Eagle-Dodge, Lawton: Jeep, Dodge and Dodge Truck
Milo Gordon Chrysler, Lawton: Jeep
Williams Chevrolet-Pontiac, Stigler: Chrysler, Dodge, Dodge Truck and Jeep
Fenton Motors, Stillwater: Chrysler, Dodge and Dodge Truck
Wilson Chevrolet, Stillwater: Jeep
The dealers likely will have a right to appeal to get off the list.
The move could cost their communities jobs and tax revenue.
