NEWKIRK, Okla. (AP) -- A former Salvation Army pastor has been sentenced to 29 years in prison after pleading guilty to 19 child pornography charges.
Kay County authorities say 60-year-old Donald Harris had hundreds of graphic pictures of underage girls on his work laptop.
Investigators say a co-worker at the Salvation Army notified authorities of the images.
Prosecutors say they had hoped for a longer sentence but say because of Harris' age he likely will spend the rest of his life in prison.
