Ruling Issued In Fatal Mayes County Fire

The state Fire Marshal's Office reports a fatal Mayes County house fire has been ruled as an arson fire.

PRYOR, OK -- The state Fire Marshal's Office reports a fatal Mayes County house fire has been ruled as an arson fire.

A 39-year-old Mayes County man died in the blaze on April 28.

Michael Cobb's body was found after firefighters had extinguished the fire.

An official with the state Fire Marshal's office says the fire remains under investigation and a report has been turned over to the Mayes County Sheriff's Office.

Friends of Michael Cobb have established a memorial fund to benefit his 6-year-old twins.  Donations can be made at the RCB Branch in Pryor.
