TULSA, OK -- Some new babies will soon be on display at the Tulsa Zoo.
The African lion cubs were delivered by C-section on March 24.
At a little more than 5 weeks old, they're playful and starting to eat meat.
The cubs will go on display at the end of May, but for now, zookeepers say they're enjoying having the cubs all to themselves.
"We want to preserve their normal behaviors and normal psychological development, let them know they're lions," Tulsa Zoo veterinarian Dr. Kay Backues said. "So all this hands on is really a lot of fun for us, but we know it's going to come to a very short end."
The zoo is planning a contest to name the cubs.
