TULSA, OK -- Another hoax e-mail about a gang initiation has been circulating in Tulsa.

It says a man's vehicle was intentionally rear-ended at 36th Street and Yale Avenue and a group of gang members got out of the other car and began shooting at him as part of an initiation.

Police say the e-mail is not true. They say a man was involved in a road-rage accident and told his mother the story as a cover.

In Tulsa, gang initiations usually don't involve random citizens, police say.
