GRDA Finds Body Of Missing Boater In Lake Hudson

LANGLEY, OK -- The Grand River Dam Authority's Lake Patrol has recovered the body of Ricky Beeson, 20, of Noel, Missouri, one of two Missouri men who had been missing since Sunday, March 30.

The GRDA says Beeson's body was located Tuesday afternoon near the mouth of Spavinaw Creek in Lake Hudson, ten miles down river from where the capsized boat was discovered.

Beeson, along with Alan Lee Long, 47, of Anderson, Missouri had been missing since their capsized boat was discovered in the waters below the Pensacola Dam.

The GRDA Lake Patrol, with assistance from other law enforcement and emergency response personnel, are continuing the search for Long.

Beeson's body was released to Key Funeral Home in Pryor.
